Today I attended Nottingham’s Women’s Centre to mark International Women’s Day. Kavya Rang members read poetry, and then we had a small story workshop, discussing three stories on the theme of females, taken from various eras and countries, but all written by women. We then had lunch and promised to keep in touch.
All through the centre activity was going on across all floors, with many children in attendance. A very interesting and thoroughly enjoyable day.
