Jai Verma

The event was held at Nottingham Hindu Temple, in the poetry programme by Kavi Rang. Eminent Hindi poets came from India to recite their poetry. The celebration launched with the breaking of the coconut. The chief guests were The Lord Mayor of Nottingham, Mayor of Broxtowe, Minister of Co-ordination from High Commission of India, London, and the Hindi and Cultural Attache.

There was a special appearance from Robin Hood of Sherwood Forest.
